Record of events: On line in Niederdonven, Luxemburg. Nord de Guerre Zone VP 9908. At 0932 6 Oct 44 Co B while in a defensive position was attacked from the south, east and north by a force of about 35 Germans. The attacked was preceded by a concentration of 81 MM Mortar fire and was repulsed after a 35 minute battle. Four known Germans killed and one seriously wounded and captured.
