Morning report A/330 for August 8, 1944

Record of events:
At approx 0015 a arty shell made a direct hit in the open door of a captured pillbox. The pillbox was full of wounded men, medics and part of the Co. The powder magazine exploded causing a large sheet of flame, exact number of casualties unknown at 1700. The Bn pushed on in the attack. Each Co had 2 tanks in support. Bn advanced about 1500 yds, holding eastern sect.
