Record of events: Alerted at 1145 to move by truck at 1300 to new assembly area. Entrucked and moved at 130 & rode generally vast to town of Avranches and from there Pontorson. Moved to assembly 1 kilometer south of Pontorson arriving there at 1230. Dol Sheet 28/10 SE. The trip was very slow and tiresome. The highways were litted with wrecked and abandoned German equipment.
