Record of events:
Alerted at Evelette, Belgium at 1500 for move to Mounville. Entrucked 2100, arrived 2200. Billeting party out 0130. Alerted for move leaving at 0510, arriving at Hogne 0700. Hot chow at 1000 lifted morale considerably. Snowing today. Men in barns deep in hay catching a couple of winks. Have 4 rooms for men to move into for warming. The OP line for 1st Bn while 1st and 3rd Bns dig in MLR. Frozen ground makes difficult digging. 2nd Pltn digging in OP with weapons Pltn attached and in support of 1st Pltn. Effects relief for riflemen and we coordinate with Co D for manning MGs.
