Morning report C/331 for April 28, 1945

Record of events:
16 Apr 45 supported by 2 tanks and 2 TD's moved south into Steckby Forest cleariing woods and hills. Upon orders, set up a defensive position on edge of woods near Eischholz. A 14 man patrol, under the protection of tanks placed in the edge of woods advanced 1400 ysd over open terrain to sieze and occupy the town of Eishholz. The company's front was then extended 2000 yds to the river and thinly held defensive positions were dug. This was the right flank of the 83d bridgehead. 17 Apr 45 thinly held defensive positions were improved as much as possible. 3 bridges to our front were blown and patrols were sent out to the front.
