Record of events: 11 Apr 45 Co moved out this morning at 0730 hrs with rest of Bn riding tanks and TD's. Received attack orders at Ohlhof and given four objectives of Lloonburg, Drubeck, Alterods and Werigerode. Bn moved in convoy Co I, Co L, Co K resistance was fairly light. Attack was fast moving with Bn suffering a few casualties. 12 Apr 45 Co moved out of Wernigerode at 0815 hrs for Doranburg where it was assigned 7 towns and villages as it's mission for the day along with Co I and Co M. Co I was to lead off with their first mission to clear a wooded area to the south and east of Dorenburg but before this mission was accomplished it was found that another unit had taken our objectives. We then reloaded on TDś and moved to Halberstadt where we have set up road blocks to keep the Germans from breaking out of the pocket. See 1945-04-15 for (more) information.
