| Erwin Derhaag pointed me to a newspaper article from the Reading Eagle of 1 may 1945. From this article partially qouted: Reading soldier loses life in Germany --- One of three brothers in the service, Private First Class Stanley E. Kosak, 25, <...> lost his life in Germany on Apri l 12, while fighting with the infantry. The Reading soldier was a veteran of the campaigns in Belgium and Germany and had been overseas since January 12. Formerly assigned to an anti-aircraft unit, Ko sak received his military training at Ft Bliss, TX, Ft Adams, MA and Camp Stuart GA. He entered the service on March 17, 1942.
