| The 331st Casualty Report (page 3, #110) for 1944 lists Pfc. Westerman as member of L Co. This differs from the previous registered company.
Private First Class Westerman was a member of L Company. The morning report for July 11, 1944 on pages 13 and 14 show him joining L Company from the 48th Replacement Battalion but his name is crossed out. Page 20, for July 14, 1944, of the same morning report show him joining the company as of July 7, 1944. The morning report for November 6, 1944 on page 6 show a change on the morning report of August 3, 1944 to read him being KIA on July 12, 1944. The pages can be seen below. |
