| Technical Sergeant Trevillian was a member of B Company. The morning report for July 6, 1944 on page 6 lists him as lightly injured in action. Page 6 can be seen here as well. On Page 57 of the same morning report on July 20, 1944 he is again lightly injured in action and transfered to evacucation hospital. Page 57 can be seen here as well. These two injuries are probably responsible for his first two Purple Hearts.
Technical Sergeant Trevillian (while still a Staff Sergeant) is also mentioned in the 83rd Spearhead newspaper volume 2 #4 for his Silver Star on page 3. An excerpt of the article can be seen here. Since we have no later documents we assume that Technical Sergeant Trevillian died while serving in B Company. |
