| According to the memoirs of Frank Monan, Co. A 331st, Pfc. Henry P Miller was a member of Company A. Since the date of death, rank and regiment are the same and since there is no Pfc. Henry P. Miller's listed as a casualty in the 331st the author of this website thinks it is safe to assume that Frank Monan made a typo.
The morning report confirms this. Private First Class Miller was a member of A Company. The morning report for July 12, 1944 on page 21 lists him killed in action on July 4, 1944. The page can be seen below. |
