| According to the memoirs of Frank Monan, Co. A 331st, Pvt. Vern G Holley was a member of Company A.
Private Holley was a member of A Company. The morning report for August 3, 1944 on page 9 lists his status changed from missing in action to killed in action on July 20, 1944. The pages can be seen below. Suzanna Ahmed provided the picture of her Great-Uncle Vern G. Holley. Vern is in the attached photo on the left next, Marion C. Chaney, who served in the Army Air Corps. The picture was taken in Greenwood, SC at some point during the war. |
