The morning report for August 23, 1944 on page 38 lists his promotion to Technical Sergeant as of August 16, 1944. The morning report for December 6, 1944 on page 6 lists him returning to the unit from NCO School on December 1, 1944. Page 13, for December 10, 1944, lists him as Missing in Action as of December 6, 1944. The pages can be seen below. Technical Sergeant Glassman is also listed on the Tablets of the Missing at Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten. After his remains were recovered he was interred at the Ardennes American Cemetery a bronze rosette was added to indicate that he was no longer Missing in Action. |
