Private First Class Brown was a member of L Company. The morning report for July 9, 1944 on page 22 lists him as severely wounded in action. Page 24, for July 10, 1944 lists him again severely wounded in action and transferred to unknown evacuation hospital. All relevant pages can be seen below. Since we have no later documents we assume that Private First Class Brown died while serving in L Company.
