Pvt. Hulbert was born in Moscow, April 9, 1925, and was graduated in 1943 from Lewiston High School. After entering the army, he trained at Camp Van Dorn, Breckenridge, Miss. and was assigned to a mortar division.

Survivers include his parents; a brother Pvt. Ray Hulbert, attending officer candidate school at Paris Island, S.C. marine corps base and two sisters Helen and Celine Hulbert.
