Captain Ruscello's full name is Louis Vincent Ruscello and he was the commanding officer of F Company. The morning report for July 11, 1944 on page 27 lists him as returning to duty on July 11, 1944. The same morning report on page 53 lists him as Lightly Wouned in Action. The morning report for August 1, 1944 on page 1 lists him returning to his unit. Page 20, for August 11, 1944, lists him as Severely Wounded in Action and page 21 for August 12, 1944, lists him as Died of Wounds on August 7, 1944. The relevant pages can be seen below.

The struggle of the Allies to liberate France from the Nazi domination lost the life of Captain Louis Ruscello, 31 a justice of the peace in North Franklin Township prior to entering the service. A War Department telegram received here by his wife Helen Jablonsky Ruscello, disclosed that the officer was killed in action August 7 somewhere in France. Captain Ruscello was wounded in France exactly one month before he met his death. He was hospitalized several weeks with a bullet wound in his shoulder and had returned to action just a few days before being killed. A member of Company H, 110th Infantry, Captain Ruscello left for active service when the company was mobilized in February 1941. He was a lieutenant at that time. He had been overseas since March 1944 and transferred from England to France shortly after the invasion. In addition to service as a justice of the peace, Captain Ruscello was employed in the Hazel Atlas No. 1 factory. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and was fraternally connected with the Moose and Eagles lodges. Captain Louis Ruscello was born in Italy, April 28, 1913 and son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ruscello. When nine-months old, he came to the United States with his parents and had resided in Washington since that time.
