| First Lieutenant Mac Millan was a member of I Company. The morning report for July 16, 1944 on page 32 lists him joining I Company from HQ 329th Infantry while holding the rank of 2nd Lieutenant as per Special Order #103. All relevant pages can be seen below. The morning report for August 7, 1944 on page 13 shows him severely wounded in action and transferred to the 102nd Evacuation Hospital. Page 51, for August 30, 1944 shows him rejoining the unit on August 24. 1944. Since we have no later documents we assume that First Lieutenant Mac Millan died while serving in I Company |
